Kathryn has a Masters Degree in Chiropractic from theWelsh Institute of Chiropractic at the University of South Wales. She was awarded a distinction for her Masters and was honoured to receive the Graduate of the Year award. She also holds a Batchelors Degree in Nutritional Science from University College Cork.
After graduating, Kathryn felt there was a gap in her training as a chiropractor in the areas of pregnancy and paediatrics (treating children and babies). She moved to Aberdeenshire, to a leading teaching clinic, in order to be mentored in this field. She continues to enhance her pregnancy and paediatric skills through advanced trainings.
Studying anatomy and movement in such depth also allows Kathryn to continuously hone her long term passion in accessible movement for all ages and all body types. She completed her first Yoga Teacher Training in 2002 along with training in Alexander technique, and holds many rehabiliation qualifications including her most recent -DNS (Dynamic Neuromuscular Stabilisation) Certified Exercise Trainer with Prague School of Rehabilitation. She has discovered that helping one to find ease within their own breathing and posture is such an important asset in her treatments. She is also trained in medical acupuncture and instrument-assisted fascial release.
Kathryn welcomes patients of all ages and backgrounds including babies, children and adults
