Colin gained his diploma of Swedish Massage and Sports & Remedial Massage through the Western School
of Massage at Glasgow Caledonian University after studying for 2 years.
He is currently studying for his diploma in Medical Acupuncture and Dry Needling.
Health and fitness has been a big part of Colin's life. He is a big gym enthusiast, playing sports and a lover of the outdoors.
He became intrigued to learn about the human body, pain management and injury prevention the hard way by injuring himself.
Through visits to the physio and getting sports massages he discovered how much it meant to him to be active and keeping fit.
He then decided to study and become a qualified therapist to help himself keep injury free
but more importantly to help others keep active and get back to full fitness.
"The best part of being a therapist is seeing the joy on someone's face when they get off the couch and feel pain free,
or when they come back and say how much better they have felt since. Keeping fit and active plays a huge role in our
physical and mental health and to be able to help someone get back to that or keep them active really is what I love about what I do."
Colin has worked in the Aerospace industry for 14 years and now also practices Sports and Remedial massage as a second occupation. An eye for
detail, diagnosing faults and problem solving works well in both his careers. Aeroplane engines and the human body are both amazing machines!
Colin is a member of the Scottish Massage Therapy Organisation (SMTO).
