Lloyd Whyman
  • Person-Centred Counselling
Lloyd qualified with an MSc in Counselling and Psychotherapy from the University of Strathclyde.

He is a Registered Member of the British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy (MBACP), andadheres to their Ethical Framework for Counselling Professions. Counselling provides a place for you to explore your feelings, thoughts and emotions, and begin to make sense of what ever may be troubling you.

Lloyd works as a person-centred counsellor this means that the therapy is collaborative and founded on the principle that each person is the best authority on their own experience.

The role of the counsellor is to facilitate achieving positive change or personal growth, without judgement or advice - giving. In this way, perceptions can change, pain can ease, and a way forward may begin to emerge. This process is unique for each person, and so the amount of counselling required varies with every individual.
